Alexandria, VA (March 15, 2024)—The National Home Infusion Association (NHIA) and Managed Health Care Associates, Inc. (MHA) are pleased to announce the addition of MHA to NHIA’s Future of Infusion Advisory Council (FIAC). The FIAC is a strategic advisory group comprised of manufacturing and service companies who are intensely invested in the home and alternate site infusion industry. The group consistently works with the association staff and Board of Directors to address critical issues, challenges, and opportunities facing this growing segment of healthcare.

MHA has a long history of supporting the home and alternate site infusion providers through active participation in NHIA educational programs and activities. Membership in the FIAC deepens that relationship, allowing for critical collaboration with the association and other companies serving patients requiring infusion therapies.

MHA helps infusion and specialty pharmacy members meet the needs of their clinically complex patients with a broad contracted portfolio of infusible and injectable pharmaceutical products, with cost savings that help members meet their financial goals. Data-driven insights and support from the company’s consultative account team allow providers to uncover additional savings opportunities and access time-saving resources.

“We are thrilled to be part of FIAC and work alongside stakeholders in the infusion industry,” said Mark Yarnevich, Vice President, Strategic Accounts at MHA. “By understanding the challenges and opportunities, together we can identify ways to help providers continue to provide patients access to lifesaving and life-sustaining treatments.”

“We look forward to building on our long-standing partnership with MHA through their engagement in FIAC,” said Connie Sullivan, NHIA President and CEO. “Through this collaboration, we will improve upon the ways we mutually serve the infusion community.”
