2023 Capitol Hill Visits

On September 28, 2023, NHIA Members held over 100 meetings with Congressional offices advocating on behalf of Medicare beneficiaries to have equitable access to home infusion services. This was the largest and most successful event of it’s kind for the home infusion industry in recent years.

The primary goal of these meetings was to secure additional cosponsors for the Preserving Patient Access to Home Infusion Act, which is increasingly important as we approach possibilities for passage.

NHIA is optimistic about the status of the legislation, but the work is not over. Stay tuned for opportunities to support these efforts in the coming weeks where you can encourage your representatives to cosponsor this critical legislation.
