Eitan Medical’s Avoset® is a small, lightweight and simple, connected infusion pump that has been designed to meet the specific needs of specialty infusion, aiming to increase patient safety and improve quality of life through ease of use and non-intrusive infusion management. The Avoset® infusion System is the first ambulatory infusion system to leverage Bluetooth and NFC communication to support programming via a PC-based Programming Tool, enabling patient-specific programming – enhancing medication safety as well enhancing the clinical and patient experience. The Avoset® Infusion Pump is compatible with bags, syringes and a dedicated reservoir cartridge, and remotely communicates infusion data to Eitan Insights®.
Brightree Pharmacy Outcomes is a set of tools that allows a pharmacy to more deeply understand and manage its performance by tracking patient adverse events − such as line infections, medication events, and unplanned hospitalizations − and analyzing their patterns. With the capability to generate reports to be submitted to the National Home Infusion Foundation and Strategic Healthcare Programs (SHP), these initiatives are complemented by external, nationwide benchmarking from two organizations: SHP and the foundation arm of the National Home Infusion Association (NHIA). SHP and NHIA offer professionally produced reports that support outreach to payers and referral sources while also providing invaluable insight that feeds internal performance improvement initiatives.
Eitan Medical’s Eitan Insights® is a cloud-based digital health software suite that has been uniquely designed to help solve the challenges of infusion in a home infusion or alternative care environment. With the use of Sapphire Connect®, an easy to attach plug and play universal cellular communication accessory, the Sapphire Infusion Pump remotely communicates infusion data to the cloud, providing remote visibility of the following: Treatment and adherence data; Infusion pressure trends; Pump event log; Pump geolocation
Linear Health Science’s Orchid Safety Release Valve is designed to retain IV sites and minimize waste/redundant clinical activity. Instead of tension pulling at the IV site, the Orchid SRV will separate and seal, creating a sterile barrier, keeping the patient treated, and expediting the clinical cycle.
“I would like to thank all of the companies who participated as well as all of the exhibitors at NHIA’s Annual Conference that supply our industry and enable us to provide our patients the best care possible,” said John Rademacher, Chair of NHIA’s Board of Directors. “I am continually impressed by the ways our supplier organizations are innovating to solve problems, from accurate and safe drug delivery to data analysis that allows us to improve care.”
“We are once again thrilled to highlight the transformative products and services with which supplier organizations are advancing the industry,” says Connie Sullivan, NHIA’s President and CEO. “Year after year, it’s exciting to see the many new offerings shared at NHIA 2024 that are being recognized for their improvements to safety, effectiveness, and efficiency across the infusion industry.”
