WHO WE NEED

At Franciscan, the Administrative Director Specialty and Infusion Pharmacy Operations is responsible for leading the organization toward primary objectives. This position requires knowledge of specialty, infusion and pharmacy operations best practices, procedures, and standards in accordance with state and federal regulations. This role has responsibility for the overall strategic direction and oversight of applicable services and programs; and of personnel principles and practices. The position is responsible for the day-to-day operating activities of one or more locations, including pharmacy operations, nursing and revenue cycle management as they relate to quality, efficiency, process, and cost.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Analyze and organize clinical operations to meet or exceed the needs of the patients and other stakeholders via best practice deployment of clinical and administrative resources.
Review analysis of activities, costs, operations and forecast data to determine progress toward stated goals and objectives.
Accountable for driving the Specialty and Infusion Pharmacy Operations to achieve and surpass productivity, profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives.
Oversee delivery of care to all patients served. Review production and operating reports, and resolves operational, clinical and sales issues to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays, and to meet growth objectives.
Participate in business development activities to support development of functional, efficient, and patient-oriented programs. Review and support team to oversee processes used for new or existing services marketed to provide cost reduction, safety, patient requirements and market growth.
Provide leadership for problem resolution to facilitate fast improvements and improved working relationships.
Supervise directors and manage the performance of individuals through ongoing coaching, feedback and development to motivate, engage and drive a high performing team.
Oversee reporting and monitoring of performance metrics, leveraging data to understand issues, and takes actions needed to maintain or improve patient experience and outcomes.

WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED

Registered Pharmacist (RPh) required
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy required or
Master’s degree in Pharmacy required or
Doctorate in PharmD required
Master’s in Healthcare Administration (Business) preferred
7 years experience in Senior Pharmacy Operations required
Proven track record demonstrating strategic thinking, business acumen, and financial management.
Solid working knowledge of pharmacy, nursing, budgeting, sales, business development, and strategic planning in healthcare
Strong analytical, planning, forecasting and budgeting/financial skills.
The ability to articulate a vision and strategy in a way that inspires and motivates a team and focuses their energy on achieving business goals
