NHIA committees bring together the thought leaders and innovators in home and alternate site infusion therapy and complement and support staff efforts to promote and achieve the association’s mission and vision.
These groups are the embodiment of member engagement, pairing the skills and experiences of members with association resources to advance the industry.
The committee structure, revised in 2022, reflects the growing interests of NHIA membership and allows new opportunities for participation.
2023 openings include spots on the Clinical Practice Committee as well as the Clinical and Sales and Marketing Education Committees.
NHIA is also launching a new Education Subcommittee for Nursing that will provide direction for content development and address a number of highly technical projects, including a designing a nursing time study, producing and reviewing a nursing Advanced Certificate Training (ACT), and conducting a workforce survey.
The Education Committee (EC) has responsibility to provide direction and feedback guidance and oversight for the development of various NHIA educational activities and content, including but not limited to the Annual Conference, educational offerings in NHIA University, educational webinars, Infusion Magazine, and other avenues in which the association delivers education to members. The committee shall collaborate with industry partners and other associations and societies to provide inclusive quality programming.
