NHIA joins the nation in extending our deepest condolences to our members and friends in Kentucky for the extensive damage and loss experienced as a result of Saturday’s tornadoes. We’ve seen the unprecedented devastation and our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Natural disasters are especially challenging for health care providers who are often affected personally as well as professionally. We realize that many of you may now be responding to urgent needs of your families, community, and patients all at the same time.
Please know that NHIA is here to help in whatever ways we can. If your organization is struggling to source supplies, arrange for alternative patient care, understand how emergency declarations and waivers impact your operations, or anything else, feel free to reach out to us.
Don’t forget, the network of NHIA members is strong and standing by. You can reach fellow providers with specific questions or requests by posting on the NHIA Community. Below are links to a few additional resources.
Stay safe through the recovery—our hearts go out to you.
