On September 8, a group of stakeholders, including home infusion providers, patient advocacy groups, professional societies, and industry suppliers, sent a letter to leaders in the House of Representatives and the Senate encouraging them to pass the Preserving Patient Access to Home Infusion Act (S 2652; H.R. 5067).
The bipartisan, bicameral legislation would secure access to home-based IV treatments while also saving taxpayer dollars by shifting care away from more expensive settings.
