Call for NHIA Board Member Candidates

NHIA is accepting applications for members of the association’s Board of Directors. Board members serve 3-year terms as representatives for their NHIA member organization. Seats are only open to provider members and are assigned at the organization level. Seats are currently available for: 1 national provider, 1 hospital provider, and 2 at-large providers (see below for definitions).  

  • National provider, defined as a multi-site organization with 20 or more locations.
  • Hospital provider, defined as a provider that is wholly owned and operated as part of an acute care system.
  • At-large members may include any type of provider.

Companies interested in serving on the NHIA Board of Directors must submit a letter of interest to Connie.Sullivan@NHIA.org no later than Friday, January 24. The letter should describe the company, history of involvement with NHIA, why the company would like to be considered for a board seat, and the name of the individual that would serve as its representative. Applicants are evaluated based on the following categories of participation in NHIA/NHIF:

  • NHIA Committee Participation
  • Fellow Participation 
  • Magazine Contribution
  • Journal Contribution  
  • Research/Data Initiative Contribution  
  • Resident Program  
  • Advocacy (NHIA Hill Day Participation)  
  • Conference Participation
  • NHIF Board Member/ Donation

NHIA is a trade association that represents companies accredited to provide medically necessary infusion therapies to patients with acute and chronic health conditions, as well as companies that manufacture and supply infusion related products and services. Infusion therapy involves patient-specific compounded medications, supplies, and a range of pharmacy, nursing, and other clinical services for delivering care to patients in the home or suite setting.
