Subscribe to FDA Recall Notices

Every infusion provider should have a process in place that ensures staff members are notified of all applicable drug and supply recalls issued by manufacturers or the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) . One simple way to accomplish this task is to sign up to receive automatic emails directly from the FDA. Because up-to-date recall information is so easy for providers to directly access, beginning November 1, 2010 NHIA will cease posting most FDA recall notices to our NHIA LISTSERV® Message Board and web site. Exceptions may include FDA announcements that have meaning beyond the recalls themselves, such as those that may become industry-wide clinical or business issues.
