With over 1,400 Alternate-Site Infusion Professionals projected to be at the 2009 NHIA Annual Conference in Baltimore (March 1-4, 2009) we have a unique opportunity to have a huge impact on getting crucial legislation passed via a 2009 Hill Day initiative. Additional Legislative Action Items Finally, with NHIA member involvement being such a vital component in generating the urgency needed to move our legislative agenda forward, kindly let us know if you would be willing to also help today by doing one (or more) of the following action items (check all that apply): Identify and forward patient stories that demonstrate how individuals and families face hardships because of the lack of appropriate Medicare coverage of home infusion. Host a site-visit/photo-op Schedule an office visit Attend an event Write a letter, send e-mail, or make a phone call
